Henry's inspiration for his writing is deeply rooted in the stories his mother shared, bolstered by his enthusiasm for comics, literature, and cinema. His particular interest gravitated towards crime thrillers, sparked in childhood by classic film noir, which left a lasting impression on his imagination. 

He fondly recalls viewing films such as "The Maltese Falcon" and "Double Indemnity," where the inevitable plot twists engaged his curiosity and challenged him to anticipate narrative conclusions. It is worth noting that certain literary works remain inadequately represented on screen for various reasons, underscoring the belief that a genuinely compelling read surpasses cinematic interpretations.
